International Kite Festival 08/23/2009

Once again we travelled out to Long Beach, WA for the Kite Festival. This year, however, we brought our own kite. Will had a great time playing on the beach, flying his kite and looking at the other kites.

Mt. Ellinor hike with Amanda

My friend Amanda and I hiked to the summit of Mt. Ellinor on 08/22/09. You know it was a good climb when you are looking down at clouds at the end.

Will and John stayed home. I just thought I'd put the photos on here anyway.










These goats are very tame. There were a few mom and baby pairs near the summit.












We were both completely wiped out when we reached the top. It took us 2.25 hours and it was hard almost the whole way.

Last weekend we went to AZ for our friend Dave's wedding. Here is Will tossing back some raisins at the reception.















The wedding was in Sedona. It was outdoors just to the left of where John and Will are in this photo. Obviously, the view was very nice.

Happy 20 month Birthday!

We celebrated Will's birthday with a Port Orchard cheeseburger and french fry survey. We ordered a plain cheeseburger and french fries from Burger King, Dairy Queen, McDonald's, Wendy's, A&W and Jack in the Box. The best burger was from A&W. I also thought they had the best french fries. John thought the Jack in the Box french fries were best. Will did not like any of the burgers but seemed to think all the french fries were divine!
