Post-Clamming Snooze

Will fell asleep as we were leaving Ocean Shores yesterday around 6:00p.m. He didn't wake up until 7:00 a.m. this morning.

Razor Clamming

Drying off and warming up after getting knocked down by a wave. Does he have on pants?

Nope!

No matter how many times he tripped on a clam hole and got wet, he didn't want to go back to the warm car. I eventually got him there. See above.

Assessing the damage.

Razor Clam Festival and Clam Dig

Will stripped down soon after getting to the beach. Here he is with John and our friends Jake and Tim.

Will trying to talk Tim into giving him the clam gun back.

Ready to do some digging! (This photo was taken several minutes before those shown above)

Will remembered how to use the clam gun.

Will at the Park

These photos were taken by our friend Imran who visited us this past week.

Will wanted to show off his 6 pack to all the ladies out there.

Look at that form!

Christmas in Hawaii 2009

This is from our second trip to the beach near Waikaloa.

Playing on the paddle board in Kona.

Christmas 2009

We spent the Christmas holiday in Hawaii with Grandma and Grandpa Purves and Aunt Julie and Uncle Matt. The first 2 nights were spent in Waikiki and the next 7 nights were spent in Kona on the Big Island.

These 3 photos are from our trip to a state park near the Waikaloa resort on the Big Island.

In Waikiki there was a beach area protected from the waves by a wall about 100 yards out in the water. This is where a lot of families with little kids were hanging out because they could run around in the shallow water without getting knocked down.

On December 16,2009, Noah's Ark Daycare had a Christmas program. Will is in the center with the mulicolored sweater. He loved being on stage and didn't want to leave. He stayed up there smiling and dancing for everyone after the show was over.
